Luva Games is a small indie studio founded in 2020 by Rubén Herrera.

Our mission is to create immersive, atmospheric games with stories where players can lose themselves in unforgettable adventures.

With a background in systems engineering and a lifelong passion for video games, Rub takes on multiple roles in the studio as Development Director, Programmer, and Storyteller. His work blends the technical with the creative, from writing code and designing levels to shaping the narrative that brings Night Creatures to life.

Nico joined Luva Games in April 2021, right at the start of Night Creatures development. With a passion for techno-retro aesthetics and a deep love for video games, Nico serves as our Art Director and Pixel Art Lead. He shapes the visual identity of Night Creatures, designing characters, enemies, objects, backgrounds, environments, and UI elements. His creativity and imagination are essential in bringing our ideas to life and giving the game its unique look and feel.

Tommy joined Luva Games in December 2023, bringing his skills as both a pixel artist and composer. He designs some of the eerie enemies and mini-bosses for Night Creatures, featuring a dark and unsettling style, while also creating the game’s atmospheric orchestral soundtrack that sets the tone and deepens the immersive experience, drawing players into the world with haunting melodies and rich textures.

Julls is our talented Cinematic Illustrator, bringing key moments of Night Creatures to life with striking 2D artwork. Since joining Luva Games in April 2025, he has shaped the look and feel of the game’s memorable cinematic scenes. With a sharp eye for composition, his illustrations set the mood and emotion in every sequence. Beyond cinematics, Julls also contributes to other artwork that supports the visual direction of Luva Games.
